Are you keeping active?

As we all know being active is an important part of living a healthy lifestyle. A lot of us find this hard at the best of times. At the moment, with the lockdown restrictions, some are finding exercise easier and others are finding it so much harder. So, how are you doing?

I’m doing “E”

Personally, I am more active now than I have been for a couple of years as I am working from home and am my son’s carer. So that my son doesn’t spend all day, every day on his computer we have been going running at least 3 times a week. Our weekly mileage has increased from an average of 3-9 miles to 12-15 miles. We have signed up for a few virtual challenges and they have helped too.

Recently, I have started to add yoga back in to my routine and this week added strength training too. We’ll see how long I can keep that up.

What are you doing? Has your level of activity increased, decreased or stayed the same? Are you still able to follow your old routine or have to had to change it due to gyms and swimming pools being closed?
