I’m sure you do. I mean we are taught to clean our faces, and the rest of our bodies, from when we are born so you should clean your face, right?
OK, next question. Do you clean your face with more than water every morning and evening? Yes or no? Is this something that you need to get better at doing? I know that I am usually very good at washing my face with a cleanser every morning and if I don’t I’ll give it a quick clean with a cotton pad and micellar water. I also clean my face before bed to make sure I take my makeup off. I wasn’t always in the habit of cleaning my face though. Especially if I was running late or hadn’t worn makeup on a particular day.
So, why is it important to clean your face?
If you don’t clean your face, it will start to look dull and lifeless. It will also be more prone to spots and blackheads due to blocked pores. Cleansers remove oil, dirt, pollution and makeup, lifting impurities from the pores to leave skin looking healthy and clear.
What types of cleanser can you use?
There are a wide range of cleansers from lotions to gels to oils, washes and wipes. Find what works best for you. Personally, if I am short on time I love the Avon True Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Wipes or Avon True Nutra Effects Micellar Water which I use with a reusable cotton pad. I often use a cleansing scrub or gel cleanser when I am in the shower to get a really refreshed, clean feel to my face, neck and decolletage (low neck line area of chest).
